Dr. Paul Crosson
Dr. Paul Crosson is Group Technical Support Manager where he leads the LacPatrick Farm Advisory Team. Prior to joining LacPatrick, Paul has been a highly respected research scientist with Teagasc over 10 years.
Paul is a graduate of the National University of Ireland Dublin in Agricultural Science Engineering. Following his graduation in 2001, Paul took up a Walsh Fellowship until 2005. Paul carried out his PhD in Farm Systems Modelling and between 2005 and 2006 studied at Penn State University in the USA under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Between 2006 and 2007, Paul was based at Teagasc Mooreark before moving to the Teagasc facility at Grange in Co Meath.
For the best part of a decade, Paul was a research scientist on farm systems and he was a key driver behind the groundbreaking Origin Green sustainability initiative.
Outside of leading the LacPatrick Farm Advisory Team, Paul runs a 60-cow dairy herd in Co Cavan.
