Dean O’Neill is a member of the LacPatrick Farm Advisory Team having previously worked on milk intake at the Monaghan site since 2016.
Dean is a graduate of Dundalk Institute of Technology and Ballyhaise Agricultural College with a honours degree in Sustainable Agricultural Science.
Since he joined the co-op as milk intake supervisor he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the operations and production side of the business. In this role, Dean worked very closely with the LacPatrick Quality Assurance team on the Monaghan site, preparing for detailed audits from our biggest customers.
He since joined the Farm Advisory Team.
Given the critical importance of quality assurance for our milk pool, Dean’s focus is on assisting our suppliers in Cavan and Monaghan achieve certification to the Bord Bia Sustainable Dairy Assurance Scheme (SDAS).
Dean runs a beef farm in Co Monaghan and recently qualified from a special new course developed by the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) on livestock auctioneering.
